Inspiring Stories is a four skills global issues text for advanced level students. Each chapter describes, with pictures and words, the true life activities of individuals working for peace and justice. Topics include microfinance (started by Dr. Mohammed Yunus) and Zero Landmines (about Chris Moon’s heroic efforts to ban landmines). A sequence of scaffolded activities gives students the chance to deeply learn the narratives. Readings give students the chance to deeply understand the topic.
